Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Provider
These Terms apply to the Thinkable platform, available at thinkable.space. The provider and your contractual partner for the supply of content is:
Thinkable Education Technologies Lucia Happe, Kai Marquardt, Jens Happe GbR
Luisenstrasse 88
76137 Karlsruhe
Germany
Email: education@thinkable.space
Phone: +49 179 7939324
The provider is a small business within the meaning of § 19 of the German VAT Act (Kleinunternehmer). No VAT is therefore shown.
2. Description of Service
Thinkable is an educational platform offering interactive learning expeditions in STEM for children and young adults aged 10 and over. Some content is freely accessible; access to paid lessons requires a registered user account and an active subscription.
3. Order Processing via Paddle (Merchant of Record)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, provides all customer service inquiries relating to billing, and handles returns. The Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions additionally apply to the purchase.
4. Registration and Credentials
Using paid content requires creating an account. Information provided during registration must be truthful and complete. Login credentials must be kept confidential and must not be shared with third parties.
5. Minimum Age and Parental Consent
Because the service is aimed at children and young people: users under the age of 16 may only create and use an account with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The paid contract and payment are entered into exclusively by a legally competent adult (typically a parent or guardian). By completing the purchase, that person confirms they are authorised to act on behalf of the minor user.
6. Subscription, Term and Cancellation
Paid content is provided on a subscription basis. The term, price and billing period are shown before checkout. The subscription renews automatically for the selected period unless cancelled in time. You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period, via your account settings or by email.
7. Withdrawal and Refunds
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, together with our additional 30-day money-back guarantee, are set out in our Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
8. User Obligations
Content may be used solely for private, non-commercial learning purposes. In particular, sharing credentials, copying or publicly distributing content, and interfering with the technical operation of the platform are prohibited.
9. Rights of Use
All platform content (text, graphics, videos, interactive exercises, software) is protected by copyright. Users receive a simple, non-transferable right to use the content within the scope of their subscription.
10. Liability
The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence, the provider is liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.
11. Changes to These Terms
The provider may amend these Terms with effect for the future where there is a valid reason to do so. Registered users will be informed of material changes in good time.
12. Governing Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which the consumer is habitually resident remain unaffected.
